Temporary policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 1, 2026

This temporary document explains how SkipTheShoot handles information in the current early version of the service and may be replaced with a fuller privacy policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide when you submit a shoot, including your email address, uploaded reference image, selected shoot type, description, style notes, consent confirmations, and payment-related order details if paid checkout is enabled.

We may also collect basic technical information such as browser type, request logs, IP address, timestamps, and error logs to operate and secure the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to create previews, process orders, deliver downloads, send status emails, provide support, prevent misuse, and improve the service.

Uploaded and generated images are not sold. They are used to complete and support the shoot you requested and to maintain service quality.

3. Payments and Service Providers

During beta, SkipTheShoot may unlock downloads without collecting payment. If paid checkout is enabled later, payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider and SkipTheShoot does not need to store full payment card numbers.

We may use hosting, storage, email, analytics, image generation, and security providers as needed to run the service.

4. Retention

Uploaded reference images, generated previews, and downloadable ZIP files are saved for 7 days from upload and then deleted from active storage.

We may keep limited request logs, email delivery records, support records, order records, and security records longer when reasonably needed to operate the service, prevent misuse, resolve support issues, or meet legal obligations.

5. Your Choices

SkipTheShoot does not require customer accounts. You can choose not to submit a shoot if you do not want us to process an image or email address.

You may request help with access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained for payment, security, backup, or legal reasons.

6. Security and Children

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

SkipTheShoot is not intended for children, and images containing people must only show adults who are 18 years of age or older.
